This Bruneian prince does not quite meet the eligibility criteria I had laid down [see bottom-most post] for wandering about this place. In fact, he’s practically a stranger. However, given the pitiful number of my acquaintances who -

• adore Mariah Carey;
• have even heard of Chyi Yu;
• weave words like malapropism, valiant, pusillanimous and catharsis into casual conversation; *and*
• blog

- I cheerfully make exception.

let it not backfire

My previous blog, I started halfway through Honours year, just before I hit rock-bottom and proceeded to dig deeper holes for myself. Fortuitously, it helped me maintain baseline brain activity in the face of adversarial forces such as cell-counting and working-for-award-rate.

Because it was designed for a readership of one, I could afford to be as self-indulgent... uh-hem... introspective, as I pleased. But now that life is taking a turn for the sunnier, I fear that the old thing has outlived its usefulness and may at long last be laid to rest.

I remain, however, quite partial to some of the babble that found its way up there. No doubt my complete works will be snapped up by some prestigious publishing house very shortly. Allow me to tease you all with an exclusive preview here.
